Five years ago a white British teenager named Alex Holroyd was brutally stabbed to death in Bradford. Why? His killers had decided he was racist. And because racism (from white people) is such a heinous sin in today’s society, he had to die.
Physically attacking white people in revenge for racism is so common I’ve got a whole tag dedicated to it.
I believe that murdering someone is a million times worse than “being racist”. But I haven’t seen the murder of Alex Holroyd splashed across the national newspapers for the last five years.
Ah, the joys of diversity!
Three men who planned an attack on a Bradford teenager, which ended in his death, have been jailed for a total of 20 years.
Alex Holroyd, 19, was fatally stabbed in the chest in a targeted attack because he did not like Asians, Leeds Crown Court was told today.
Mr Holroyd was followed before he was attacked by two of the men, Hanif Mohammed and Johannis Thompson, in a side street.
Mohammed lashed out at Mr Holroyd with a knife he had brought from home. Mr Holroyd suffered a six-inch deep wound which penetrated his lung. He staggered for some distance before collapsing in the road and died in hospital.
Prosecutor Alastair Macdonald QC said the victim was targeted because he had previously been involved in incidents of violence with racial overtones with young Asian men.
