A TEENAGER on his way to school has been brutally bashed by a group of males outside a Braybrook shop.
The 14-year old was attacked by the youths, described as being of African appearance, between 8am and 8.15am outside shops on Churchill Ave – about 500m from Caroline Chisholm Catholic College where he attends school.
School principal Marco DiCesare said the year 9 student was helped to the school by a friend and taken to hospital.
“He was punched in the face certainly a number of times down at the local shops,’’ he said.
Mr DiCesare said the thugs did not attend the school and were not known by the victim.
