CCTV captures the moment a McDonald’s customer racially abuses the restaurant manager at a drive-thru window, before spitting at him.
Police are investigating the attack which happened in the early hours of Sunday 2 December at the McDonald’s on Holyhead Road in West Bromwich, opposite the Hawthorns.
The offender arrived as a passenger in a taxi, a blue VW Passat, at around 2:40am.
After being informed of a short wait for his food, he got out of the vehicle, prised open the drive-thru window and launched his assault.
The 43-year-old victim has described how he was subjected to a torrent of racial abuse before being spat at by the customer, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
