AN elderly man was attacked and hit over the head with a crowbar when two men forced their way into his home to steal cash and jewellery.
The first intruder is described as black, 5ft 6ins, stocky and dressed in black clothing and a woollen hat with a scarf covering much of his face.
The second man is described as black, around 6ft, thinner and dressed in similar clothing.
