Jail for Man Who Stabbed Passenger on Train

A homeless man who stabbed a passenger in the chest on a train leaving Dalston Kingsland Station was jailed today (Friday).

Paul Beckles, of no fixed abode, attacked his 36-year-old victim, from Kentish Town, after the two men accidentally collided as they boarded the train through the same set of doors, Blackfriars Crown Court heard.

The 44-year-old threatened the victim and followed him down the carriage before stabbing him twice in the chest and abdomen on April 4 at about 9.30pm.
