Man attacked and robbed by gang
A group of teenagers pushed a man off his bike before stealing it.
The incident happened at around 8.45pm on Wednesday, June 6, as a 22-year-old man cycled through Wardown Park, Luton.
A gang of six of seven Asian males in their late teens approached him and knocked him off the bike before punching and kicking him while he was on the floor.
They group stole the bike and a bag which contained a Sony PSP, before running off towards New Bedford Road.
The victim has been able to describe two of his attackers.
The first is described as around six foot one inch tall, of thin build and wearing a red, baggy jumper and a dark beanie hat.
The second was around five foot ten inches tall, of medium to stocky build, with short black hair at the front of his head and a small beard. He had very dark skin and was wearing a grey jogging tracksuit.
Detective Constable Surfaz Hussain, who is investigating the incident, is keen to hear from anyone who was in Wardown Park at the time of the robbery and may have witnessed the attack.
