I’m sure you’ve all seen the latest attempt by the anti-white racists at http://unfaircampaign.org/ to lay a guilt trip on white people just for being white. The video suggests that we should feel guilty about the fact that “society was set up for us”. Which society is that then? Chinese society? Mexican society? Somalian society? I’m going to assume they mean American society. Yes, apparently white people should feel guilty about having our own society (but it’s okay for other races to have their own societies).
It’s funny, I’ve been trying to convince Liberals for years that America as we know it was set up for white people. They’ve always argued that American society wasn’t set up for white people, that it was founded on the principle of multiculturalism, was a nation of immigrants and had always been racially diverse. Now they finally agree with me!
If American society was set up for white people, then what are non-white people doing in a society that by their own admission was set up for white people? If I build a house to my specifications, the way my family likes it, is it fair for someone else to move in 400 years later and complain about how the house was set up for me?
“But what about the Native Americans?” I hear them asking. By their own admission, the Native Americans didn’t set up this society, white people did. Unless they’re saying that Native Americans set up the society for white people? And even if we agreed that we should feel guilty about what “we” did to the Native Americans; Asians, Blacks, Latinos, Arabs, etc aren’t Native Americans. So why are they trying to crowbar themselves into a guilt-fest about Native Americans? Any historical greivances between European-Americans and Native-Americans have nothing to do with Arabs, Latinos, Asians or Blacks. So what sort of logic is that? “Your ancestors took the Native American’s ancestor’s land, so Latinos, Asians and Arabs taking the land from you today will make up for it?”. Two wrongs don’t make a right. The Native-Americans resisted then, and the European-Americans are resisting now.
The reason American society was set up for white people, is because it was set up by white people. Black people set up their own societies in Africa, Yellow people set up their own societies in Asia, Latinos set up their own societies in South America, Arabs set up their own societies in the Middle East . . . but apparently when white people set up societies for ourselves, we’re supposed to feel guilty about it.

I acknowledge that whites occasionally attack other races, but that’s not the purpose of the blog. There are already plenty of blogs out there demonising white people.
No we can’t all get along. History proves that time and time again. We should learn from our mistakes and stop trying to squash different races together. It causes unnecessary tension and problems, both economic and social.
the unfair campaign isn’t meant to make whites feel guilty. it is put in place to help people see their white privilege. when we recognize our white privilege we can understand that where there is privilege on one side there is a lack of privilege and thus oppression on the other. our society was founded by white men, therefore our founding fathers set the groundwork for what our society has become today, systematically oppressive. we are the majority and our society caters to us. we are the oppressors. we have always been the oppressors. people of color face systematic oppression everywhere they turn because of the dominant culture of our society. this oppression isn’t always obvious and it isn’t always preventable, which is why we have to understand our white privilege in order to make our society one based on equality, not oppression. the unfair campaign is merely trying to help people see their privilege, because you have to see that privilege in order to see that not everyone has it. if you don’t want to read about the un fair campaign, just google white privilege. you will come across hundreds of ways our society has been formatted for whites, not people of color. its not right. we are all in this together.
The problem is that you say “white privilege” like it’s a bad thing, wheras I do not accept that it is. Is it wrong that there is black privilege in Nigeria? Is it wrong that there is yellow privilege in China? Is it wrong that there is brown privilege in Honduras?
Let’s say your father builds a house with his own bare hands, and makes it just the way your family likes it. It is wrong that your family has privilege in that house? Is your house oppressive because of it?
What if I burst into your family’s house 400 years later and didn’t like it there, so I started complaining that it was oppressive, that it was unfair that you had privilege there, and that it should be changed to suit me? You’d tell me to get out of your house, right?

You should use that guilt to help open your heart to someone else’s pain, struggles, views, opinions, etc.
