Witness appeal after Bristol Road assault in Gloucester

Witnesses are being sought after an assault in Gloucester’s Bristol Road.
Some time between 11.30pm and 11.55pm on Monday, a 19-year-old Gloucester woman was approached by another woman who had been in a group of six.
She was punched in the face in what is believed to be an unprovoked attack.
The offender is described as black, around 20 years old, 5ft 7ins tall, of large build and wearing grey tracksuit bottoms.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the assault or was part of the group to call 101, quoting incident 19 of June 5.
